Cowaramup Hall Playground Replacement

Community members are invited to vote for their preferred design for the new Cowaramup Hall Playspace.

Due to age and condition, the current Cowaramup Hall playspace is scheduled for renewal in 2023-24. The renewal involves replacement of the playspace in its entirety, including shade, play equipment and soft fall, with a replacement budget of $70,000.

In May 2023, Cowaramup community members were invited to be part of the Design Team to help shape the playspace renewal.

The Design Team volunteered their time to participate in two co-design workshops, collaborating with Shire staff to determine the type of play experience offered, playspace and shade colourways, preferred equipment, and playspace layout.

Two playspace designs have been created based on outcomes of the co-design workshops.

As part of the community consultation process, the Shire is now inviting the wider community to vote for their preferred design.
